The French have one of the most decorated military histories in the world because of how many wars Europe had. Disparaging surrendering once to the Axis warmachine which had already rolled over every. single. other. country. in Europe while travelling there is as always a retarded take that many online and off continue to perpetrate.
Then again it is regularly the same crowd that not only champion the "cheese eating surrender monkeys" line but also "Freedom Fries" despite those originating from Belgium, not France, and their own nation only existing because the French helped during the war against the British.
Or you know, maybe I know enough history not to endorse the reddit tier take about their overall military history, when they haven't had a military worth a good goddamn in two hundred years, and are among the people most directly responsible for drawing us into both world wars, the Vietnam war and were one of the driving forces behind the overthrow of Gaddafi causing the flooding of Europe with muslim barbarians.
