Because the same retards who said defund the police suddenly cared about the police being attacked when it wasn’t black people doing it. That and they all really want trump dead so the vitriol is back up to 11.
I'll never forget during Kyle Rittenhouse seeing a clip of some of them shouting anti-police slurs, then after the gunshots, shouting "Help! Police!!!"

Everyone outside the US didn't give a shit about Jan 6th the next day but I've heard people still talking about how Americans have gone back to trying to assassinate political leaders.

The fact is conservative leaders are weak and hate how engaged their base is, they long for the days of the late 90s when more normies considered you 'weird' if you thought about politics outside of election season.
Because the media is setting the tempo of the battle, and the Republicans are split into two groups: reactionaries who are only responding to the enemy, and RINO's who are trying to lose.

Good question. Anytime someone effective is developed it's used once and immediately forgotten. I'm sure there's some deep seated psychological reason as it's almost a complete separation between based and debased.
I'm still talking about it with people, but nothing makes sense except the left (at best) set trump up to be killed, at at worst encouraged the kid to do it and gave him every opportunity to succeed.
