It really is SO stupid to claim the ear shot was 'set up' unless they were literally shooting in the crowd at him.
Thanks to everything from wind, gravity and him moving his head a lot during the rally (which saved his life) it's one of the dumbest takes I've heard since saying Biden is fit to be president.
That's genuinely one of the craziest parts of the conspiracy that I've heard. The crowd was in on it.
The crowd
Like, the crowd knew that the gunfire was fake, and it was all hollywood, which is why they didn't run away, except for the guy who got his brains blown out.
That is some wild bullshit. Effectively: "Everyone in the sands and in the field, some couple thousand, they're all just paid crisis actors."
It’s just ideological possession in action. If there’s a 0.01% chance that it was staged, leftists will believe it because that’s better for their cause. The evidence doesn’t matter.
I know the guy who told me this and it wasn't ideological possession in his case.
It's more like media capture. He basically doesn't ever hear anything that isn't from a mainstream media source. He's one of those people that thinks CNN is center-right.
wait, what? They're saying the crowd was in on it? The old saying is 3 people can keep a secret if 2 of them are dead. And they're saying (tens of?) thousands of people at the rally were all in on it and not one of them spilled the beans? Ridiculous.
Yup, I heard that both from a friend of mine IRL, and a internet pundit.
As grating as I am on the internet, I am much more cautious IRL with my friends, so I didn't drag him over the coals about how retarded that comment was. I just told him I couldn't recall a single false flag in history where the target actually got hit, and gave him examples.
Are people seriously saying the guy shot his ear on purpose? First I've heard of it.
My take was always that we have no confirmation that Trump got hit in the ear until after he goes down, other than Trump himself touching his ear. If he's in on it, it would be trivial to touch his ear, go down, quickly apply make-up over a couple seconds, then you're back up for the fist pump with your secret service flippers hanging off your arms.
Sounds like he's pushing a thoery that never existed?
Yes, an inexperienced shooter can hit a man sized target at 150 yards
I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again: I always said it was a very possible shot. What gets my noggin joggin' is the claim that he was confronted second before the shot. No longer sighted in on target, massive adrenaline spike, yada yada. 150 yards itself isn't impressive, but the circumstances make it a bit weird.
It's not clear how many seconds passed before that. Nobody can seem to verify the time frame on it.
All we've got is one of the local PD ran up after someone pointed the guy out to them. They were not stationed in the building, none of the local PD was because the Secret Service told them that the building wasn't their jurisdiction; and these cops were on traffic duty. They responded to people yelling about a gunman by trying to go up to the roof and take a look to see if they could see the gunman. Instead of clambering up other objects to get onto the roof, one of the cops stood on the shoulders of another cop to look over the roof. The suspect allegedly noticed this, and pointed a gun at them, the cop ducked down and in so doing fell from the other cops shoulders, and sprained his ankle. His injury meant that he couldn't put any weight on it, and was one of the reasons they didn't go up to get him. There was apparently no ladder for them to get to, and the cops claim that the ladder seen in videos was NOT brought by the shooter, but by the SS after the shooting.
Even the ostensibly true parts of this story are fucking goofy.
Its truly amazing how torn I end up being after these events between how fake it feels through the comedy of errors or having to accept that this many people are just that fucking stupid and incompetent at the same time.
The craziest part is that it's absolutely both one way or another. The reason it's clearly an assassination is because they got only the worst people to guard it.
It's like if the bank manager fired all of his tellers and security guards, and then invited all of the special needs kids form the local school to have a field day trip where they could be bank employees for the day. The one day that just so happens to be a day where someone robs the joint.
It's an impossible shot unless you mean hitting a man sized target in general. A shitty DPMS rifle with a zero magnification sight on it is fucking useless from that range beyond putting shots relatively on a human sized target.
You're not hitting a fucking EAR, ON PURPOSEz from 150m with a knockoff eotech on a $400 pile of shit, and this kid isn't an average conservative who's plinked on the range every so often, or gone on hunting trips for deer/elk/moose, or actually served in the military and killed some people. This is some dumb soycunt from a soy college with no prior experience actually shooting living things.
Again, I'm talking specifically in those circumstances. I think it's highly unlikely but possible.

Eh. Not impossible, but it would be an absolutely retarded choice. So our options seem to currently be that a shooter was this retarded, or the SS was this retarded. I'm honestly torn, and want to call bullshit on both.
You're not hitting a fucking EAR, ON PURPOSEz from 150m with a knockoff eotech on a $400 pile of shit...
I have never and will never claim this. Anyone running the 'it was planned by Trump' thing is completely retarded, even by lib standards. You won't hear me spouting that particular brand of bullshit.
This is some dumb soycunt from a soy college with no prior experience actually shooting living things.
Seems to be the case, from what I've seen so far, outside of some FBI/CIA training. But, yeah, not buying it. Second shooter likely, but not guaranteed.

IRL, you have to teach them out of the ignorance.
When's the last time you heard a spoiler for a Marvel movie? How many people work on those?

Some people are even saying the shooter shot the Teleprompter and it was glass that hit Trump. They're not joking either.

This is where I'm stuck. I cannot believe, even with DEI, that the USSS could be this incompetent.
After carrying a 10ft ladder around, laying on a hot tin roof, and gooning to porn before taking the shot.
The local PD said that ladder wasn't set up by the shooter, but was brought by the SS after they shot the guy.
