Yes, an inexperienced shooter can hit a man sized target at 150 yards
I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again: I always said it was a very possible shot. What gets my noggin joggin' is the claim that he was confronted second before the shot. No longer sighted in on target, massive adrenaline spike, yada yada. 150 yards itself isn't impressive, but the circumstances make it a bit weird.
It's not clear how many seconds passed before that. Nobody can seem to verify the time frame on it.
All we've got is one of the local PD ran up after someone pointed the guy out to them. They were not stationed in the building, none of the local PD was because the Secret Service told them that the building wasn't their jurisdiction; and these cops were on traffic duty. They responded to people yelling about a gunman by trying to go up to the roof and take a look to see if they could see the gunman. Instead of clambering up other objects to get onto the roof, one of the cops stood on the shoulders of another cop to look over the roof. The suspect allegedly noticed this, and pointed a gun at them, the cop ducked down and in so doing fell from the other cops shoulders, and sprained his ankle. His injury meant that he couldn't put any weight on it, and was one of the reasons they didn't go up to get him. There was apparently no ladder for them to get to, and the cops claim that the ladder seen in videos was NOT brought by the shooter, but by the SS after the shooting.
Even the ostensibly true parts of this story are fucking goofy.
Its truly amazing how torn I end up being after these events between how fake it feels through the comedy of errors or having to accept that this many people are just that fucking stupid and incompetent at the same time.
The craziest part is that it's absolutely both one way or another. The reason it's clearly an assassination is because they got only the worst people to guard it.
It's like if the bank manager fired all of his tellers and security guards, and then invited all of the special needs kids form the local school to have a field day trip where they could be bank employees for the day. The one day that just so happens to be a day where someone robs the joint.
What makes it maddening to me, is that I could absolutely believe the entire initial scenario happening completely organically. And if they literally did nothing, I think we'd all probably settle on that being the case. Just minor SS DEI hires failing at their job.
But like any good lie, they just kept adding unnecessary details over and over and now it sounds completely unbelievable.
It's an impossible shot unless you mean hitting a man sized target in general. A shitty DPMS rifle with a zero magnification sight on it is fucking useless from that range beyond putting shots relatively on a human sized target.
You're not hitting a fucking EAR, ON PURPOSEz from 150m with a knockoff eotech on a $400 pile of shit, and this kid isn't an average conservative who's plinked on the range every so often, or gone on hunting trips for deer/elk/moose, or actually served in the military and killed some people. This is some dumb soycunt from a soy college with no prior experience actually shooting living things.
Again, I'm talking specifically in those circumstances. I think it's highly unlikely but possible.

Eh. Not impossible, but it would be an absolutely retarded choice. So our options seem to currently be that a shooter was this retarded, or the SS was this retarded. I'm honestly torn, and want to call bullshit on both.

I have never and will never claim this. Anyone running the 'it was planned by Trump' thing is completely retarded, even by lib standards. You won't hear me spouting that particular brand of bullshit.

Seems to be the case, from what I've seen so far, outside of some FBI/CIA training. But, yeah, not buying it. Second shooter likely, but not guaranteed.

This is where I'm stuck. I cannot believe, even with DEI, that the USSS could be this incompetent.
After carrying a 10ft ladder around, laying on a hot tin roof, and gooning to porn before taking the shot.
The local PD said that ladder wasn't set up by the shooter, but was brought by the SS after they shot the guy.
