So I think it's more a statement on the UK's sliding standards on who they chose to fill authority positions.
I think when it comes to women in the workplaces, I've always been lucky, ALL the women I've worked with have been nice to me and honestly not a dampener. The annoying ones always worked in different areas to me.

Female prison guards have a long history of getting pregnant on the job. I remember one story some years ago where the same inmate got three different ones pregnant at once. That's just the guaranteed sex happened cases, so imagine how common it is where it doesn't have pregnancy.
The irony is that this is the biggest case of rape by power dynamics possible.

If memory serves there was a survey done on female prison guards that "discovered" the women liked having power over the men, especially in sexual matters. As such the men who had any sense of pride would walk away and they would just wander off and find a simpler criminal to exploit. This is something the red pill and old school game didn't quite get right (and the Anglosphere has gotten wrong since the late 1800s). There is a far greater number of deviant women than originally thought, and women are much more controlling than originally thought.
