This is TOO obvious, especially since the actual judgement SOLIDIFIED Republican support behind Trump that even the establishment had to openly back him so them trying to rubber stamp this act is career suicide.

And then there's the elephant in the room, the Supreme Court, they're currently looking at presidential immunity and thanks to the recent actions of NY, it looks like it'll be a majority for BROAD immunity as anything less puts the executive branch open to easy manipulation through state courts.

Them also naming it like this is also too obvious, this really does seem like desperation that they NEED this done to put Trump in jail before convention as for them that's the ONLY way they can hurt him enough to win, not realising they're making him a bigger martyr.

You know they'll put him in jail and he'll be Epsteined. And his "supporters" will slink home like whipped dogs just like Jan 6.

He gets Epsteined and the right might actually find their balls and revolt. For better or worse Trump is their voice right now, and given the amount of real grassroots support that guy has, the establishment would be out of their minds to attempt such a thing.

That may be wishful thinking. Many people hate the rich. Who the rich person is often matters less than being able to hate someone. Most convicts are sociopaths.

Would Trump even go to a common prison? Wouldn't he go to one of those luxury ones for billionaires?

They'll send him to Rikers Island if they can.

And you are correct. I doubt they would go easy on Trump, not because they hate the rich, but because they've been taught to hate this one.

I think one of the reasons they charged him in the location they did because the prison they are put in is Rikers

The thing is the VAST majority of people in prison are either literal retards or borderline. So there will be at least one idiot thinking "How much of a badass would I look if I killed a president?" They will not (or can't) think anything beyond that.

This is the vice-chair of that J6 fraud committee.

If they want Trump assassinated, they are very stupid (he's old and not in perfect shape, he'll go away naturally sooner rather than later). I don't think they are, but J6C creeps may be.

Republicans are in on it. Reminds me of that scene in Braveheart where the noble council sells Wallace out.

Trump will need to cross the Rubicon or the Rubicon will cross him..

What about any political mast err ... I mean servant? Remove it from Congress too. Never should have had it in the first place if they're actual servants of the people.

Just charged with? I'd almost say that's a constitutional violation, but I don't know if the equal protection clause would apply to what is clearly a privilege.
