There was a time when Eagle was just a stop sign and a few houses.
I grew up near Boise in the '80s and never even heard of "Eagle," despite regularly making the trip up and down the I84 corridor between Boise and Fruitland.
Wow. My grandparents live near Fruitland. I lived in Middleton for a while. We had to go through Eagle to get to Boise. If you took I84 you wouldn't even see the exit for it.
Probably not a big deal, but be careful with self-doxing... You never know what kind of crazy person may try to track you down or figure out who you are.
Definitely. Some of the people here talking about home towns astound me. The most I’d do is allude to my home state, and even that’s only because it’s one of the larger ones.
Anyone else is going to need quite a bit more than a few towns and a decade to identify anything. My description applies to damn near everyone from that area. It's small but it's not that small.
I personally think whenever you're talking about anything personal, "power levelling" as they call it on the farms, you should be as vague as possible, leave out ANY details that are potentially identifying, and probably toss in some misdirection for good measure. Over years of posting these little clues add up.
This is similar to where I grew up. The town it is part of has more than quadrupled in population in 20 years, and the specific "side" of town has grown so much that it now has a locality name, whereas before, if you called it that, people would have just gone, "Huh, isn't that the name of the road?"
It's pretty bizarre. Especially when 90%+ of the growth has come from interstate and third-world (mostly the latter) immigration, lol...
The OP got an upvote from me for the content but they do go by the name of Mel Gibson and so I do expect the inevitable attempts at being anti-Jewish to surface before too long.
Pedo Pajeet’s what he is, He was a former Conpro troll, tried going on Gab before me and Tallest put a stop to it, and given the (((admins))) here are useless, well seems he picked it as a target
If you're being serious, we've had a troll problem, so people are rightfully suspicious of any new or newly active accounts. One of the main trolls is, as mentioned, a pedo who rants about age of consent, which is why you were accused of that.
If you're not him; great, welcome. If you are, you'll reveal yourself soon enough, I expect.
Well, if I'm ever in the area I'll stop in, and I rarely drink. They also have open carry coffee mornings too, so that's cool. I'm always wary of political grifts though, hopefully that's not this.
Are you allowed to open carry while you're drinking alcohol? I never looked, but I always figured there was some prohibition. Maybe not on carrying though. Just using?
Where I am in Texas you cannot carry in any form at a place that is licensed to sell alcohol and gets more than half it's income from alcohol (i.e. a bar). You also can't carry while intoxicated unless on private property. I suppose there's no reason you couldn't go to an alcohol-serving restaurant that is primarily food, but I'd stick to coffee and not leave an opportunity for intoxication.
Of course I have no idea about Idaho specifically. Some of the states around me are similar but a few require a license.
There was a time when Eagle was just a stop sign and a few houses. The growth is staggering at times.
One of the best arcades I have ever been in was in Eagle till Covid. Classic games from the Atari days that very few had.

Most of my family was centered around the Parma area. Some closer to Wilder and Homedale. Small world.

The feds already know who I am.

It doesn't matter where you are, someone is or knows an Idahoan.
Weird but true, I liked the gifted program in Idaho over Washington. There was a lot of aggrandizing over teaching in Washington.

Should I move there? Err would that just ruin it more. I'm not attached to a place; I just want to live somewhere with few (but not no) people.
I'd recommend a place like Melba. It's just out enough to not be touched by California, but a 30-40 minute drive away from Boise.
OP, are you a pedo who wants to lower age of consent?
It's sad that we have to ask that to everyone who comes through the door now.
The OP got an upvote from me for the content but they do go by the name of Mel Gibson and so I do expect the inevitable attempts at being anti-Jewish to surface before too long.
If that happens he'll get banned for that long before the pedo pajeet's latest bunch of alts get nuked.
Yeah, he might do something wildly anti-Semitic like directly quote an influential Jewish person lol
A weird troll keeps creating new accounts and spamming the place recently, with arguments in favor of that.
It's been annoying enough that some locals have apparently started to lose their social graces over it.

<slams the janny alarm>
You call them whores because they refused to sleep with you, subhuman.
My apologies if you're not the handshake troll.
The right response.
During interrogation, you admitted that 'marrying them off' is to make them suffer.

Those were your true desires, subhuman filth. There is no escape.
Might have to stop by there when I go through the Boise area.

As long as they're not crypto leftists out to grift right wingers I'm more than happy to reward this behavior even if it is kind of a gimmick.

I'm not much of a drinker or anywhere close but I'll have to patronize them if I'm in the area.
Based
You're just as useless without condemning them,
Something something Imp was not that wrong.
