Wow. My grandparents live near Fruitland. I lived in Middleton for a while. We had to go through Eagle to get to Boise. If you took I84 you wouldn't even see the exit for it.
Probably not a big deal, but be careful with self-doxing... You never know what kind of crazy person may try to track you down or figure out who you are.
Definitely. Some of the people here talking about home towns astound me. The most I’d do is allude to my home state, and even that’s only because it’s one of the larger ones.
Anyone else is going to need quite a bit more than a few towns and a decade to identify anything. My description applies to damn near everyone from that area. It's small but it's not that small.
I personally think whenever you're talking about anything personal, "power levelling" as they call it on the farms, you should be as vague as possible, leave out ANY details that are potentially identifying, and probably toss in some misdirection for good measure. Over years of posting these little clues add up.

Most of my family was centered around the Parma area. Some closer to Wilder and Homedale. Small world.

The feds already know who I am.

It doesn't matter where you are, someone is or knows an Idahoan.
Weird but true, I liked the gifted program in Idaho over Washington. There was a lot of aggrandizing over teaching in Washington.
