so a company of just men versus a company of just women. this implies it will take women at least 15-20% longer to complete a project with this menstrual leave. lol. and games that dont get finished in time means less profit.
It would take 15-20% longer if women were capable of ever completing men's work. In reality given an extra 20% of the time they still won't accomplish the goal.
According to their own stats only about 11% of their eligible staff used it on any given month. They don't say how many days they give off but I'll just guess 2 as a middle ground. I'm also not working out differences between a 28 day cycle and calender month, or odds they fall on a weekend, so this is really approximate.
But (0.11*2)/28 means they're only missing about 1% of their working hours on average.
That 15-20% longer might be true, but it's not going to by the menstrual leave alone, it'll be by other woman bullshit.

Well, obviously adding people to a project doesn't mean it gets done faster.
But a team consisting only of men most certainly gets more shit done than one that has women regardles of menstrual leave.
I'd be courious if productivity was actually up when enough women were on menstrual leave at the same time.
Yes. It means less chatting in the office which always equates to more work getting done because people can actually hear themselves think.

It's okay, the white knight brigade has a special menstrual duty battalion to save the feminist day.
Yeah but a win for equity. /s

Then again, you only have to pay women 77% of the of the salary so, you're marginally ahead in the end?
Costs more and takes longer yes.
I had to manage a team of about 8 women in a game dev company a few years ago and a lot of time was also lost due to drama and infighting.
Constantly getting pulled into meetings over petty shit, people refusing to work with each other, people crying. It was like highschool.
Worked with some really great women too of course, but that one team almost caused me to quit.
Its also really gross getting notifications everytime someone on my team is having a period and books leave. Makes me feel like a pervert.
