All game "journalists" should be made to stream them playing any game they review. I imagine 95% of them would end up like this.

The inevitable point where all the "best games" that journos talk about are RPGs is that if a game is really good it must also be an RPG somehow.
I mean, it has equipment you can change. That was enough for the Modern God of War games to become RPGs.

Her defense for it being an rpg game is her and her squad mates pretending to be actors making a b movie? It's not even a question of genre bending or some game theory hypothetical, it's just her head canon. I think a journalist should be more objective than that even in a personal review.

There's always some dipshit out there who believes they're blowing peoples' minds by being ignorant of genres. "Well, when you think about it, in a street fighter you're playing the role of the fighter you choose, so that's actually a role playing game." Or they're genuinely ignorant of gaming, which is much more likely for a "gaming journalist."
