A lot of the Evangelicals kinda hitched their wagon to George W Bush 20 years ago and are still licking their wounds from the brow-beating they got for having done so.
Also they get taken advantage of like no other cohort. They're the most loyal supporters of the GOP and get essentially nothing in return. Maybe they're starting to wonder when their support is going to actually pay dividends.
Support for Israel has declined quite a bit among younger Evangelicals and also younger Republicans in general. Only around 25-30% of Republicans under 30 are pro-Israel. There is a leaked audio recording of the ADL panicking about the lack of support from young people and kvetching about TikTok.

My question to this is 'How did they expect to retain/gain support from newer generations?' Having adults tell their kids something between "greatest ally" or "holocaust" a few times in their upbringing will only get you so far.
Considering how this entire Israel/Gaza situation is panning out for them, and the fact that the "golem" thing keeps cropping up over and over, I don't think these Jews in Power have a history of thinking ahead.
Resting on laurels and assuming their power is unquestionable seems to be a running theme.
They’ve owned every candidate at every level and controlled every election for the last 60 years. They don’t need support. They have total power regardless.
They are the nigs of the right. Always showing up faithfully to vote for the party just to get throw a few crumbs while their pockets are picked for Israel.

There is a leaked audio recording of ADL leadership, especially Greenblatt, having a melt down. The plan is straight up censorship.

There is the problem. You do not get rewarded for loyalty in politics. You get rewarded for pressure and the possibility of defection.
After all, why pander to rubes you got on lock-down, when you can instead chase after those juicy (but non-existent) "big tent" voters?
