I got to try out the Europa demo. It's a beautiful game with a linear path, and a little bit of platforming. I wanted to explore this world and the game wouldn't let me. It really sucks knowing this. There are strangely placed items and the controls aren't the greatest. A real disappointment on my side.

Fallout 4 is getting an upgraded version with new content and 60 FPS
The new 'content' for Fallout 4 was basically making some of the Enclave related content on the creation club free which were made just to add in Enclave armour and gear.
As for stability, seems alright not as ganky anymore. I just hate the bias on console that creation club can install fine but mods disable trophies.
That's too bad, I love mods and think they're really under appreciated now a days.
It's more petty than anything that they do this with the non paid mods.
Especially since I can still XP glitch and resource glitch like crazy and that doesn't disable trophies, why not allow it that I can mod better NPCs, more building spaces and use more of the map without disabling content.
Most game designers in the 'industry' think they're a great artist and don't like it when you mess with their Art
Calling it now, Disgaea 3 did it better. One look at the character art and I am fully unenthused.
I mean, one has Raspberyl, one doesn't. I know which one's better.
Demonschool only looks comparable to Disgaea in the same way Fate/Stay Night is comparable to Shaman King. Extremely broad setting strokes, summoning heroes of the past to compete for a wish vs demon school setting. But the mechanics and tone are totally different.
I've been thinking about how we don't get any masculine action-shooter games these days. None.
A game where you play as a badass bloke exploring a dangerous world with cool and unique weapons while facing off against challenging AI in interactive worlds? Nope.
Not since the original Gears trilogy, Halo trilogy, and maybe Max Payne 3 have we had a game with chiefly masculine attributes and a good combat system.
Red Dead Redemption 2 had a pretty trash combat system with weird movement controls where you couldn't just properly run and hip fire quickly, and Arthur had a horrible habit of getting stuck on environmental geometry. Plus auto-switching from the melee weapons after doing a dash-attack made it where you couldn't just go around axing people conveniently.
I look at all these games on this list and watched a few trailers, and there is a substantial lack of testosterone there. I've been replaying older games, like Miami Vice and True Crime on the PS2, and it's quite telling just how far removed we are these days from playing as cool, masculine leads with good gunplay. It's one of the things the Switch really lacks (given most of these games are for the Switch), and it's a shame that even the SNES and N64 seemed to have a more diverse selection of masculine action titles than the Switch.
You should check out Boomer Shooters. I didn't have any listed, because I prefer stuff like Quake or Doom in its original form. I'm playing Boltgun right now, and it's got me trapped in an area for a few weeks now. Lovely.
Check out the classic and design section I will be posting next.
Thanks will look out for that section.
And yeah I bought a few boomer shooters, like Prodeus and BPM. Haven't heard of Boltgun but I will check it out.
Check it out

Awesome, thanks for the update!
I was reading and reading, and it was all stuff I have never heard of and don't really care about and then...
Now you have my attention. As soon as there is a release date announced, I will be scheduling a vacation for a few days starting on that day. I absolutely can't wait for that game.
I'm slightly concerned about Silksong. Hollow Knight was great with Hornet being a semi-antagonist with a limited part.
I could very easily see them girlboss her up and make the game insufferable to get through.
Plus, it's been in development limbo for years at this point. I'm assuming it will never release.
I'm worried about the girlboss thing too, but I haven't heard anything out of Team Cherry to warrant it. It is just from the state of the world. I am just hoping it lives up to Hollow Knight.
I was right there with you about it being vaporware too, but if the ESRB has given it a rating, something must exist for them to have looked at.
Thanks! So much to explore
It's a labor of love. Though I admit it has been hard to get time to cover it all.
Games talked about today: Gundam Breaker 4 will be released August 29th. SD Gundam parts are now part of the collection that can be used in player Gunplas.
I added a video of gameplay for next month's list.
oi oi, I love the look of Felvidek. Glowing Steam reviews which all suggest it's very short, so I might even be able to fit it in my backlog without forgetting it forever...
It definitely caught my attention.
I picked it up, it’s great. It’s short but there’s a lot of side content and optional stuff, well worth the 10$
Some of these look pretty neat, and I hadn't heard of at all. Thanks for the head's up.
Of course.
No Rest For The Wicked will be outstanding in like, six months.
Probably true.
