I guess that's one thing I've never thought about, how often a director/producer/whoever watches a film before release. Getting up to the CEO like this sounds silly, but I have to imagine there are other media executives like this.
It's basic writing and laziness that the diversity hires who threw it together don't understand. The first one uses the music to move the story and demonstrate a motivation. The second one flat out interrupts everything to just put words on the screen in the least entertaining conceptually bankrupt way, and it's all CG to begin with so it's extra lazy and annoying, obviously shoehorned in to eat running time.
It’s actually an incredibly damning revelation, because this guy sat through Cruella and the scuttlebutt scene in BLM (Black Little Mermaid ✊🏿) multiple times and was like “oh they’ll love this!”
There's no way this is possible, how can one man survive exposure to that much slop without dying of cringe?
He was exposed to the slop. Now he has become one with it.
Insert “I’m a Woman” song from Batgirl here
he's a jew. he's watching multiple times to make sure every inch of screen space and time is thoroughly jewed
Imagine Iger whistling and pointing at the screen like the Leo meme as he watches the cat aliens vomit people in The Marvels
"This is what I'm talking about! Good job team"
I like to imagine him being all giddy like that soy boy Star Wars reviewer and yelling "Black girl magic!" at the screen.
Goddamn Bob. Tell us more of your master plan to euthanize the Disney brand because you no longer have faith in it.
And then wonder why people would dare to vote Trian for board seats.
did he actually watch Little Mermaid live action 3-5 times
he has a stronger stomach than I do, I don't think I would be able to handle that even for the CEO salary

An example of how far modern Disney has fallen.
The first one made me consider going out of my way to see the movie.
The second one made me wish it would end faster.

Hollywood's not Jewish, though.
