May this continue, I want pronouns to be as toxic to holding a position as the elephant's foot is to living matter.
My boss hits delete on any resume with pronouns. He says he's been seeing less of "that insane nonsense" lately. Here's hoping.
There needs to be a background check service to see if somebody ever used pronouns.
They may lay low and hide their insanity, but they'll always be snakes.
Just ask them other questions during interviews. For example, if you ask them what's their favorite TV show or movie and they answer with something like The Last Jedi, instant reject.
Asking them what their favorite book is is also a good one. If they say anything related to Harry Potter, or any YA book, it's also an instant reject.
It may be prudent to check an archive of their linkedin before deciding on an interview.
Honestly if it wasn’t so predatory, I like pronouns in bios simply because it’s a helpful indicator to me that anything this person says is gonna be dumb as fuck and their opinion is irrelevant

lol was this actually true? did they really listen to people's complaints after all or was it just a happy coincidence or for some other reason?? i dont know but i have zero faith in the leadership of Sega at the moment after they attacked the fans when they created their ridiculous "no harassments policies" instead of answering to fan's concerns about localizers and when they admitted to allowing localizers to mess with the actual development of games itself (and i've noticed other companies have admitted to giving this sort of power to localizers as well, not just Sega its only this time that they got massively called out for it. )

It also didn't help that all the QA people were bringing to much notice to Sega. I love their games, but it's all a front and they don't want to get out of their niche.
