Yeah this hyperbolic as hell but this along with attack ads on Trump like this shows that they really have lost the plot and even those 'the end is neigh' guys on the street have a better recollection of reality than 'journalists' nowadays.
The whole Axis thing isn't terrible in Japan, so people dress as Nazis at conventions. It definitely gets a double take when you first see it. Then they found out I'm German...
It's one of the things you grudgingly admit, the Nazis had cool uniforms. Combine that with Japan not having direct interaction with them (despite being allies) and putting said uniform on cute anime girls and you see the attraction.
This is so laughable it isn't even worth a proper response, I wonder what would be the most dumb/ridiculous manga/anime that would disprove this. Any takers? I am baffled this is even entertained. If we talk actual, literal nazis in manga I have only ever seen nazis as villains(hellsing for example) or at worst neutralish(Jojo part 2) or as a joke(Hitler killing himself in drifters). The hello kitty thing just makes even less sense.
