Oh bullshit - he didn’t “bully” his way into the movie. He gave terms for the shoot and they agreed. He didn’t threaten them, he didn’t threaten the director - he asked and they conceded.
I despise yahoo news. I have their email and have to get through the news section before going to the email. They used to allow you to block certain articles (I had race related/lgbt/celebrity stuff) blocked but they don’t let you anymore.
Get uBlock origin and use the "block element" feature. There's a good chance that you can use it to permanently hide the entire news section. Just right-click what you want to hide and "block element". You might need to fiddle around with exactly what it's blocking to get it right, or block multiple elements, but usually you can get rid of what you want pretty easily.
I've got it set up to hide things like the Youtube "you need more context to truly understand this video" boxes. It makes the web much more usable.
Thanks!
Personally I like knowing when I'm watching something the powers that be have deemed to be wrongthink. But I understand that many people probably don't want that intruding on their personal time, especially if they watch some videos as an escape from the bullshit.
I bookmarked my inbox precisely to avoid the frontpage.
Be sure to check the "annoyances" filters in uBlock so you don't get videos in an empty inbox too.
making mutual deals is bullying now, you're supposed to give people whatever they want for free. didn't you get the patch?
pfft - I follow the (new) Battlestar Galactica rule of connectivity... always air gapped!
One of the most famous people in the world asked to make a cameo on a popular movie series to use his hotel? Yes, that was such a bullying move for him to be approved.
I watched the clip, and Trump was just some random passersby, not like a big shot manager or anything.
Haha, they act as if any of that is illegal. Quid pro quo is not some horrible thing, it’s just a transaction.
It doesn't surprise me at all to hear that Leftists treat the idea of "you do something for me and I will give you something in return" as a totally foreign concept. It's the baseline of their whole identity; give me what I want for nothing in return, because I simply deserve it by existing.
It ties in with their philosophy that every problem with the world is because a few greedy people hoard resources purely out of sadistic impulses.
I don't know about that. The Clintons and the Bidens all seem to be extremely familiar with foreign countries and quid pro quo transactions. And they're not the only democrats with multiple villas with a government salary, either. Also, we can't forget about the mansions bought by the leaders of BLM after the Summer of Love.
Sounds like the director did not read Art of the Deal, but Way of the Bitch instead.
A simple rule of thumb when you read these;
Reality: Trump sneezes.
Media: DRUMMMMMPPPFFFF KARMA! CORONAVIRUS INFECTS BAD ORANGE MAN! IMPEACH NOW!
Reality: Trump asks someone for something.
Media: THE EVIL ORANGE HITLER BULLIED PEOPLE TO GET WHAT HE WANTS! THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN!
Reality: Trump talks to the general public.
Media: THE BAD ORANGE MAN IS CONSPIRING WITH WHITE SUPREMACISTS TO ENGINEER ANOTHER INSURRECTION! TOP THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY!
Keep that in mind and you'll understand how to read the rag.
I mean, a lot of high end places like this have way worse caveats or would never let them actually use more than establishing shots - Good fellas had it's famous one long take in part because the copa cabana didn't want them gumming up their entryway.
They've completely forgot that in that period right around 1990, Trump was the epitome of naked wealth without agenda.
That's why his name came up in rap every now in then, because he was everyone's concept of a guy who doesn't give a fuck about anything but reaching the top simply for the view of living at the top.
If he'd wanted the job he could have been mayor or governor of New York in a landslide.
