It's just toilet humour, not even good toilet humour. Compared to this Filthy Frank is fine art and I'm betting the classics like Blackadder or Monty Python's humour is completely lost on them.
Please, as a last ray of light, tell me this is just YouTube and not syndicated, it's Christmas, give me this bit of hope..
I don't think I would've found this funny even if I was 7 years old. Maybe this is just me as I grew up when The Simpsons WAS GOOD and South Park was at its peak so maybe it's because of the quality of entertainment at the time that this would never click with me at any age.
South Park had an episode with people with Asses for heads running around doing nothing but toilet jokes until it ends on them farting on Ben Affleck's face. Terrence and Phillip were one long fart joke. One of the biggest episodes of the time, the Passion one, ended with Mel Gibson literally walking up and shitting on Cartman's face graphically for no reason. The first real episode is nothing but "anal probe" jokes.
They've always been that direct. Just because they were good at the time doesn't suddenly make all that disappear.
I was a Nickelodeon fan for a long time. Things started going to shit between 2006 and 2008 when Dan Schneider starting carrying the network on his own (and indulging in his pedophiliac foot fetish in the process). By 2013 or so the network was officially shit. The last of the decent shows had been cancelled and the pedophile golden goose had stopped laying eggs.
A buddy of mine was also a long term Nickelodeon fan, and he suggested a show called Sanjay and Craig. I was skeptical, but I gave it a shot on his recommendation. It was actually pretty decent, but I couldn't help but notice all the butt jokes they put in it. I assume that was to appeal to young boys but it felt unnecessary to me. It was sad because I grew up on quality shows like that and they knew they didn't need lazy humor to keep their audience's attention.
Just off the top of my head: Ren and Stimpy, Rocko’s Modern Life, Celebrity Death Match, Bevis and Butthead, South Park, Aaah Real Monsters, Cow and Chicken. All of them had similar humor and a good portion had more grisly scenes.
Cow and Chicken had an entire character whose entire joke was "has a comically large ass". On top of an episode about a group of "biker" chicks who break into houses to chew on carpet and drag girls into softball games with them.
I don't think you could get that on the nose even now.
Instead Tiny Toons like Animaniacs was chock full of senseless violence. Anvil falls on character and crushes him for no reason. Ha ha so funny!
It was the same kind of attack on society as Looney Tunes only this time by (((Spielberg))) instead of (((Warner))).
In contrast, Duck Tales around the same time actually taught kids classic virtues like not stealing / cheating / lying, working together, family values.
On a population level yeah this is nothing new. But it isn't universal, what we have in this thread is probably an overrepresentation of the sizable minority of kids who never thought the fart jokes were that funny. Rather than people forgetting their youth.

Its aimed at 12 year olds. Foster kids of that age love it. We actually outlawed viewing it.

No no, it's awful. South Park had the cat sniffing episode, but nothing this direct.

Nothing wrong with a Lion King spinoff focused entirely on the director's fart fetish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LbAzOVTaL4
I saw it happen Billy and Mandy. Great dark humor and then suddenly Billy was slapped in the face to look like a butt.

Y'all motherfuckers forgot what you was like when you were 13.
This shit's pretty standard.
When I was 13 the edgiest thing on daytime TV was Tiny Toon Adventures.
There was no shit and ass play on Tiny Toon Adventures.
I was thinking most people were probably not 13 during Tiny Toons, but more like the shit people saw on New Grounds.
Though, as you say, there were some serious innuendos on Tiny Toons and Animaniacs.
True, I was 11.
Instead Tiny Toons like Animaniacs was chock full of senseless violence. Anvil falls on character and crushes him for no reason. Ha ha so funny!

Yeah Tiny Toons was still full-on brain rot. Not defending it in any way.
I'm amazed the rot has gotten worse.
Senseless violence doesn't cause violence, it causes senselessness.
Honestly, I used to watch Rockos modern life when I was like 10 which did gross out humor a lot. Also sexual jokes that went over my head as a kid.

This is why you should homeschool and instill good values into your kids so they don't even want to watch garbage on TV when they're 12yos.
Wow..yeah it looks exactly like a cartoon that would appeal to tween boys. Yep.
We had My anus is bleeding like what's really that much worse here? It's just dumb toilet humor cartoons
