Every gender/racebent character ever. Notice how there's no complaints with characters that were ORIGINALLY a minority or female like Storm, Blade or Black Panther.
It's like, you create an original character and people don't complain about ethnicity..
That might be changing though. I'm pretty suspicious of any media that has a protagonist from an "underrepresented" background, and I didn't always feel that way. In Current Year it's a warning sign that it's full of woke shit, and even if it isn't it gets a pass to be garbage because it checks the boxes that our rotten culture actually cares about. I give older media the benefit of the doubt.
Yep, another thing the left fucked up. I'm HIGHLY suspicious of all Western media nowadays because of their antics over the years.
I don't have the same suspicion of anything from India, Asia, hell China can make blatant propaganda war film about the Korean War and Hamas can make s video game and I'm STILL more suspicious of Western entertainment since the former is at least obvious about their message. The West try to bait me constantly with nostalgia.
I'm sure you can see, though, the problem the woke crowd would have with having a character stand purely on the strength of their writing and personality?

Everyone knows this one only even got in the door because A)Every AAA game that isn't broken gets in and B)They woke would have burnt them down if they didn't.

I noticed in Synthetic Man's review of Spider-Fag 2 that the costume leaves that
shitpilehair hang out. They had to get overt "blackness" in there.What perplexes me is that even when they do genderswap/tranny-ize the characters they don't tell good stories, which one would think would be the whole point of "uplifiting" the minority representation. No, instead they woke-ize the entire plot and make the story dumb and stupid which then reflects on the same minority representation and seemingly confirms the stereotypes.
Therefore - "uplifting the minority representation" cannot be the goal of this near world-wide effort.
Pushing woke-ideology messaging? Maybe? But again it's stupid and the stories are lame and merely hurt that message too. So it can't be the goal either.
All that remains is cultural destruction and trying to block anyone from rallying together in a shared vision...

I do wonder what happened there, I assume Sony payed nicely to get their game nominated and I doubt Larian has anywhere close to Sony in terms of connections or money.
I doubt the awards are in any way related to merit.
