oh no anyway
Its truly amazing how many Marvel properties are underperforming in a row to a resounding "we just gonna keep doing exactly the same thing."
Irony being one of their best products in years, Midnight Suns, they just let release to a resounding "who?" earlier this year and underperformed from literally no one hearing about it despite it having the Xcom team behind it.
It's optimized like shit - my rig runs something like 2077 no problemo, but Suns stutter and heat the GPU dangerously, even though graphically they're nothing important.
Also, party-based Slay the Spires are mega-niche genre and don't tend to sell more than 50-100k, for a good reason too - they're slog to play unless you're turbo-autist. No to mention that, from I've seen, they suffer from usual malady of SlS clones - overdesigned cards. That multiplied on full party = shit gameplay.
It runs like shit? Yeah, sounds like Xcom2’s team for sure. Are you interrupted every 5 seconds to be told something you already know as well?
It has the opposite problem, where the random callouts for your moves can interrupt the unique mission dialogues because they don't stop you for anything except moves.
I heard the dialogue and story were trash. Can I be a sexy half naked chick tho? Asking for a friend.
I'd rank the customizable character as neutral on the sexy meter. You can't buy anything overtly sexual, but its not overtly conservative either. If you can enjoy bikinis and tight t-shirts and other everyday hot you'll be in luck. But its also so easily moddable and filled with costume mods for every character, because its still Xcom.
And the story is generic comic book, nothing I'd rank as trash but not special. The dialogue mostly suffers from certain characters being painfully bad (Nico) while others are exactly what you'd want from them (Deadpool, Blade, Iron Man).
You gotta bypass the 2k Launcher to immediately improve performance massively. Which you need to do with all their games and is clearly the publisher's fault considering it applies across the board. Luckily its literally a two step easy process to do. The load times are still ridiculous, but after doing that I had zero further issues.
And its probably the only non-"roguelike" Slay the Spire clone I've seen, which puts it head and shoulders above basically all of them as it allows it to be played with a completely different mindset, one that is basically just like Xcom in terms of team building and not treating every battle as a long string of mistakes but as singular units. Heck it feels closer to Into the Breach than StS.
If you look at user reviews, a LOT of the complaints about it are from recent marvel fanboys complaining that it's a strategy game and not another tepid brawler. Go figure Disney's approach to the franchise has driven off anyone who can reason and analyze.
Considering the Guardians game barely sold, the Avengers game flopped so hard it basically lost something like 100 million, and all the previous MCU games were cheap licensed trash meant for rental stores, I don't see how they could think any company would keep down that road.
Ironically, Disney hiring out a major and well liked developer and letting them make a game with all the big "cult favorite" characters like Wolverine and Deadpool is probably their most logical possible move.
I would have preferred X-Com 3.
I would too, but this steals enough from the Mario + Rabbids game (that had no right being fucking good) to improve upon the formula that wouldn't work in an Xcom specific game that I can still enjoy it.
Blackrock ESG control the money supply. They're going to continue wokifying everything until you have no choice but to consoom. It was never about market appeal and always about shaping consensus.
Imagine if they had asked John Byrne to consult and decided to adapt the version from 80s and 90s. She-Hulk was a popular character with boys at one point
All comic books were popular with boys and military (so grown men.) The Marvel and DC that was in the 90s is no more and taken away by sociopathic inhumanes that want even an ounce of power over people. It’s best to ignore the companies and embrace the idea of what they were. Time to make our own stories, ideas, and heroes than rely on the bastardized new versions.
True. The only marvel and dc comics I buy today are back issues. I buy indies like Rippaverse and I need to get the western comic by Razorfist. I guess it just annoys me how they totally alienated their core audience in pursuit of a non existent one
Don’t think of it as a company alienating their core audience. That assumes the people working there were the same people from the 80s and 90s. Treat them with no emotion as they deserve none. Let them scream for table scraps as the YouTube comic book reviewers laugh their way to bigger viewer numbers and awesome comic books sales.
I wonder how the actor that played Daredevil feels. They made him do the barefoot she-hulk-raped walk of shame on camera for lord knows how many takes.
Because... strong and powerful wahman!
Literally no idea how to think what a man's life is. He doesn't need to carry his shoes, because he doesn't wear retarded impractical shoes. But they just make him do what their dumb asses would do for no reason.
The reason was ritual humiliation.

Remember that though the enemy want to subvert, destroy is their secondary win condition. Incompetent activist women exercising authority is an automatic win for them regardless of the results.
Anything but just letting us have what we have.
What a fucking waste of time and money.
Hey Jessica Gao,
Who played into who's hands again?
Halo, 2 resident evil, one piece, cowboy bebop.. how many times they gonna try? Anime/gaming live action sucks balls, especially the woke diversity kind.
Halo is actually getting a season 2
I totally forgot this show existed. Probably same with everyone else except for the few feminists that watch the show. Well, it doesn’t matter. Disney won’t learn from this.
