It's optimized like shit - my rig runs something like 2077 no problemo, but Suns stutter and heat the GPU dangerously, even though graphically they're nothing important.
Also, party-based Slay the Spires are mega-niche genre and don't tend to sell more than 50-100k, for a good reason too - they're slog to play unless you're turbo-autist. No to mention that, from I've seen, they suffer from usual malady of SlS clones - overdesigned cards. That multiplied on full party = shit gameplay.
It runs like shit? Yeah, sounds like Xcom2’s team for sure. Are you interrupted every 5 seconds to be told something you already know as well?
It has the opposite problem, where the random callouts for your moves can interrupt the unique mission dialogues because they don't stop you for anything except moves.
I heard the dialogue and story were trash. Can I be a sexy half naked chick tho? Asking for a friend.
I'd rank the customizable character as neutral on the sexy meter. You can't buy anything overtly sexual, but its not overtly conservative either. If you can enjoy bikinis and tight t-shirts and other everyday hot you'll be in luck. But its also so easily moddable and filled with costume mods for every character, because its still Xcom.
And the story is generic comic book, nothing I'd rank as trash but not special. The dialogue mostly suffers from certain characters being painfully bad (Nico) while others are exactly what you'd want from them (Deadpool, Blade, Iron Man).
You gotta bypass the 2k Launcher to immediately improve performance massively. Which you need to do with all their games and is clearly the publisher's fault considering it applies across the board. Luckily its literally a two step easy process to do. The load times are still ridiculous, but after doing that I had zero further issues.
And its probably the only non-"roguelike" Slay the Spire clone I've seen, which puts it head and shoulders above basically all of them as it allows it to be played with a completely different mindset, one that is basically just like Xcom in terms of team building and not treating every battle as a long string of mistakes but as singular units. Heck it feels closer to Into the Breach than StS.
