The vitriol in the responses was ridiculous. You can't even explain to these people how idiotic it is to force women into a hobby that tends to appeal to males. This why you gatekeep anyone who says "as a ........ I never saw myself". I remember watching an interview where this lady was saying how she didn't see many girls in the comic book store and I was screaming at the screen that there is nothing sinister because women just don't buy them at the same levels.
Anyway, it is just sad to see some normies will just clap like seals at whatever is offered.

A disparity across demographic categories doesn't necessarily imply bigotry or discrimination. Benign factors can cause those differences, because people aren't blank slates who are equally likely to do any given thing.

They're not even girl brands. You can make brands for girls sell really well. You can make brands for women sell really well.
But, nobody but lonely feminists give a shit about girl boss brands.
The problem is, then the girl boss feminist would have to actually look at the revealed preferences of women and admit that when it comes to this sort of things, women prefer male superheroes. And they prefer them to be hot with absolutely jacked muscles (see: Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Chris Hemsworth as Thor). And they prefer their female superheroes to be just as sexy as the men like them (see: Black Widow, Wonder Woman). And they like a good romance, and many of them kind of wish they could be forced around by a strong man (see: the roaring success of 50 Shades of Gray).
This all defies the feminist logic, and therefore they have to fight the women just as much as they fight the men. And this problem extends to other mediums, like how every Zoomer who complains about sexy depictions in media is countered by dozens showing off their favorite hot anime waifu.
