Just something I've been thinking about, you'll get the doomers saying 'WW3 is going to happen, they're going to replace us, we're going to be forced in to slavery' like the plans of the elites can't be stopped.
Something that's both hopeful yet depressing on seeing a simple solution, what would happen if normies just used numbers and stopped, no violence, no purges, just stopped.
For instance, what if all normies stopped joining the military that recruitment went to near 0. How would governments react knowing they have NO force to rely on? Education has long been infiltrated, what if normies just stopped using them, all did home and community schooling? Well teachers unions would be destroyed overnight, probably see LGBT go down drastically because they no longer have stable indoctrination centres. We know the left can't create anything so they'll simply die off with nothing to feed on.
The only one I can't see this tactic working on is mass migration, not because illegals will take up the roles normies stop doing, more because they're still there in your country taking up space. It's slightly depressing that these 'grand plans' can be foiled by simple noncompliance, like a lot of humanity are lemmings walking off a cliff...
You overestimate the resolve people can maintain when held at gunpoint, and that's exactly what the elite would resort to in the face of widespread noncompliance.
True we saw that with the covid shots but at the same time we saw how lockdowns simply crumbled when the people in Russia and UK refused to comply.
We can always say 'they'll use force or coerce using indirect force' but there seems to be breaking points where simply there's too many numbers to use force against, like trying to fight a horde of zombies with limited ammunition.
The Lockdowns were an excellent example of governments only having power because of mass compliance.
For a while there, they were shutting down travel, public gatherings, public services, and collaborating of corporations to shut down speech online.
But, as it turns out, if you ignored them they couldn't stop you.
I remember a woman who filmed herself crossing the border. The customs officer told her she had to wear a mask; she said no. They got some kind of health officer and he told her to wear a mask; she said no. They tried to act as though there would be consequences; she just said no, then continued on her way.
Things only ever got bad because people went along with it. As soon as they stood up and said "no more", the government folded. No armed rebellion, no assassinations, just people refusing to believe the government ruled their actions.
The problem is that when we're talking about a war, citizens aren't going to be rounded up by doctors, nurses, cops and politicians, but by actual military personnel. And that's an entirely different ballgame when it comes to forced compliance and obedience.
Not that I'm even remotely advocating for capitulation. I'm just pointing out the realities of how much scarier such a situation will be than you're letting on. Which frankly is important if you expect people to hold their resolve. They need to know what they're in for if they're not going to crack or break when the time comes, when faced with either resisting or surrendering as their only remaining options.
Normies will continue to comply as long as their comforts and distractions remain uninterrupted. Tv, movies, videogames, sports/porn negroes to worship, etc.
As long as even the most base release valve to their lives of wageslavery exists they will do nothing. They’ve already proven they don’t give a fuck about their kids.
So theoretically, with how shit entertainment produced in the West is, would a large enough recession/economic collapse wake them up or would it be too late by then?
Depends, if the gov can spin that they have the solution for the collapse or not. Also considering that entertainment can gained from the high seas, the collapse will have to be either create the great firewall or ensure that the grid is unreliable in my opinion.
All of them.
Power is illusory. It exists only as an extension of compliance with the literal influencer on your decision.
Frankly, we don't even need to go as far as you say. Most of the time, a simple "No" throws them into a fit, and then they just engage in Cluster B personality disorder type habits until you agree with them. Genuinely, a hard, stoic, "no" could blunt most of their current aggression.
After that, comes the proper coercion: mass imprisonment, over-charging, police brutality, de-banking. However, that can't actually be implemented en masse without de-legitimizing them, which results in them targeting very specific people publicly.
Then at a certain point, they play a desperate gamble. This is the thing that I've been warning about. Something like cops openly firing into unarmed protesters with live ammo. It's something that exists as a desperation move because they ran out of ideas, and maybe they blame someone as a scape goat to get everyone's attention; but for the most part it just generates blowback.
After that, they'll literally just leave. They are globalists. They aren't going to fight to hold the ground under their feet when they can go somewhere else. They'll just steal everything that isn't nailed down when they leave. But, at that point, you'll still have won. You just won't have a pension.
That's ok, The gov have already told me that I will not get any, if that is all it cost for them to move I would be pleased.
Yeah, same boat. I just assume that there's not going to be Medicaid, Medicare, or Social Security when I'm 65.
To that end, I am sure it is merely a coincidence that there are reports that a lot of the usual suspects in the Corporate and Political world are buying up so called "doomsday bunkers" for millions of dollars in New Zealand.
Yeah, they are going to safe places. New Zealand, unfortunately, is quite safe for them.
you are cattle. you will comply. they'll make examples out of a few. if there is mass non-compliance they will cut off transportation and critical infrastructure. no food, no clean water, no power. you might say, "well I'll be fine I have all that covered." OK, but the vast majority of people do not. so they'll just rob and kill you.
an elite that wants to maintain it's power, even over an armed populace, has many, many effective options.
I get what you're saying, but it just illustrates the problem with normies...they're normies. They don't even realize those are problems, or distancing themselves from that is an option. They won't stop engaging with state education. They might stop joining the military, but that's from laziness and entitlement, not some sense of principle.
It's a very real problem with any system, perhaps especially representational systems. The average person is extremely easily led, and doesn't know what they want or care about until they're told what those things are. Unless you can take over the media and do a gradual shift over decades (huh, sounds familiar, actually...), normies aren't going to even realize where the problems lie. They'll just keep normie-ing.
Now, I've said before, I don't think we're doomed, I don't think it's hopeless. More and more people are waking up, because those in power are getting more extreme and lazy, but it's not some sudden thing, and generally not even intentional noncompliance. It largely won't be protest, it will just be people saying 'oh, that's an option?'
It's true of a lot of it. It doesn't work for immigration, though.
Schooling requires more active resistance as well. You have to build alternatives, and that is difficult when both parents work.
It would be highly effective on almost every enemy. The problem is making it happen. First you need people to be aware there's a problem, then you need them to realize how much power they have.
noncompliance? a few
violence?
"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?
... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward."
