I told my parents what happened in the infamous ''Covington kids'' video right as the journalists started going insane.

So I showed them the video, asking if they thought I mischaracterized it.
No we all agreed the kids did absolutely nothing wrong. The old guy bagning the drum 3 inches from the teenager's face is the one harassing people.
Then I showed them CNN and other mainstream ''respectable'' news articles.
Then asked them to keep in mind journalists do this constantly.
They do this because the mainstream acceptable worldview now is that White people are opressors, non-Whites are opressed, and journalists with most politicians believe, or fabricate, whatever the fuck they need to to uphold that narrative.
I have weird relatives that watch too much MSM, and they don't know anything about Biden accusations. Like, they were genuinely confused when I explained that I don't think that Biden admin follows the law very much, and i gave specific examples. They don't even believe the twitter files cuz it's "Right wing propaganda"
