I’m listening…
I get the feeling someone saw Cavill's attempts to minimise damage during The Witcher then asked "What show can we do with him that has swords but isn't Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones?"
Shall wait and see how this goes for now.
Never heard of this guy, PLEASE tell me he lives up to his own name.
If you like action he absolutely does.
Yay!
Rose up from stuntman to director, has a chin you could use to frame walls with, used to be married to a woman named Moneymaker, and directed all the John Wick movies (and the upcoming Ghosts of Tsushima movie).
And now he access to working with Henry Cavill, this could go insanely good.
It's the director from John, fucking, Wick!
His stuntwork listings are a lot longer than his directing but it's a very long list of action movies that should be a good sign of things to come.
The Crow (1994), Escape from LA, The Matrix, Spider-Man 2, Constantine, Serenity, V for Vendetta, 300, Tron: Legacy, Dredd, Captain America 2: Winter Soldier, and many others.

Seems as though it's going to be a hard reboot, which is a good thing. I enjoyed the Highlander TV series, but the later seasons and the movies that came after really messed up the lore.
Highlander 2 is one of the biggest wtfs of all time!
I liked the first one. Plus, Queen.. "Who wants to live forever" etc. Awesome music. Plus, #VinceMcMahonMeme: Sean Connery in a movie called "Highlander", as an immortal sword fighter, who is Egyptian/Spanish.
TV highlander dude was way better than movie dude.
Sounds like someone who won’t crap all over it like Hollywood usually does
If they could structure the movie with the sort of anxiety-riddled action from a movie like The Duelists, but in the Highlander universe, and with Stahelski's iconic eye for choreography and wide angles, it could end up being a modern classic.
Cautiously optimistic. I've never been into Highlander but I generally like Cavill.
New highlander film: Oh no.
Henry Cavil: Well, maybe...
