“For about 10 years, until the start of the pandemic, American films were basically supported by Disney,” Otaka says.

But the pandemic shut down distribution of nearly all Hollywood films, including Disney’s.

“As a result, the Japanese audience for Disney films, which had been quite large, gradually started to fade away,” Otaka says. That is, they kicked the Disney habit, and have been slow to take it up again.

Wait, so the downfall of Disney is saving the Japanese from the Hollywood woke trash? Quick, pour more gasoline on this bitch, we need Disney to burn faster so Anime is saved!

I'll admit I'm a bit of the same, the only films I've seen recently in cinemas was John Wick and Top Gun Maverick. I'm more interested in more info on that Overlord film in the works than anything Hollywood can make.

That corporation is America's #1 exporter of degeneracy and woke mind virus. The LGBT rainbow flag should include the mouse logo at this point. Middle eastern countries should be burning Disney flags in the streets.

Just the other day I went searching for that figuring its been a year or so since season 4 and was monumentally disappointed when I saw there isn't even a concrete release date yet.

So long as it's prime Madhouse film quality, I'm fine with waiting

I want to see Demiurge and his 'Holy club' in the best quality possible...

I'm watching it now for the first time. It's pretty good but not great relative to other stuff

I haven't seen the fourth season yet, besides the first episode. It didn't start doing huge crappy CGI battles like the third season did, did it?

Not really, some here and there (think during the Dwarf kingdom arc) but mostly good because it followed one or a small group throughout alluding to the devastation coming.

Oppenheimer looks good. Christopher Nolan is the only director now that I make the effort of going to the cinema for. (I was dragged along to Top Gun Maverick and although the film was some nice escapism, my theater experience was a fucking nightmare)

International audiences don't want to see gay shit and feminine men.

It is as simple as that.

So, mostly the same reasons why Hollywood is falling out of favor EVERYWHERE.

Maybe they want to watch a good film instead of a political sermon using smiling soy puppets.

asians only like to see light skinned characters... leftists keep talking about only relating to a character only if they same skin color or sexuality/gender. well, asians cant related to blacks. asians are the opposite of black people in many regards. they also dont like blacks since... asians are often targeted by blacks. lol. the list goes on.

they tolerate already famous blacks like will smith or denzel washington. which.. btw, there are no new black actors coming out that have the same clout as them. isnt it strange??

Hollywood put their money on the Black Panther actor becoming one of those icons, but that didn't work out quite right.
