The 60s was just the public test. The decay started as soon as exiled jewish academics (critical theorists) from Europe found homes in radical universities in the US, which happened in the 30s. Following that, the decay occurred quietly in the academic realm. One example being the lawsuit against Harvard for capping jewish admits.

That said, I'm a bit skeptical about him because sometimes it sounds as if he's just echoing standard right-wing talking points, at least those of the time. For example, I don't think that Medicare was part of "demoralization", whether or not you think that such government programs are good or bad.
After Skool is a group that does hand-drawn whiteboard animations for a variety of speakers. Now, they are up front with the fact that all (or most) of their speakers are chosen because they are counter-culture, and that leads to weird bedfellows.
If that thing throws a fit and youtube demonetizes the channel and/or pisses off the advertisers such that they don't advertise on his channel, Linus is done. And I suspect everyone involved knows this.
You could argue that he doesn't need the money or the hassle or anything, and in a sense you're right. But I'd guess he also wants to do right by his employees who would be out a job if that happened. Maybe he could sell the business, but he's also the very public face of the business; and what would it be worth if he no longer was?
All assuming he's not enthusiastically supporting all this, which I'm not sure is a reasonable assumption to make given the last 3 years.
I don't know if you've ever listened to the WAN show when anything political, moral or ethical comes up, but Linus is a genuine canadian liberal retard. He would do this for free.
