Blaming everything on authorities and rich people (until they do what you want) is one of the most common traits of lib brained individuals. Idk if anyone remembers the journalist that blamed white supremacy for some stranger forcibly raping her in Haiti.

Someone round here has been pushing the james lindsey stuff recently and I gave it a listen, and I heard him say this just last the other day. It was almost the exact same example about there being a car accident, pedestrian and driver, whose fault is it. We on the sane spectrum would look at who was driving where and when, who had right of way, what the rules are,

The left has a very system view of the world: "yes, the city for pushing cars and our culture for pushing a culture expecting us to work and thus drive is what is at fault, and it must be upended and destroyed, and anyone who supports any of this is complicit"

This is who were are fighting. This answer is typical of the 'systematic' leftist view of things. Now, I do think the responder is satirical in this case, but it's the manner of thinking we're fighting.

I don't mind a good systems analysis to study problems.

But, the Left is just fucking lying about caring about systems. They believe in conspiracies and cabals (which is why they form their own). A good system analysis is going to allow us to solve some abstract problems and build efficiency. It is not going to explain who's at fault.

If you look up "soy grimace" in the dictionary you'll see this guy's (?) picture.

The cat most, but you can't control or expect a sentient creature to comprehend sapient rules. The biker second, because he's too close to the car in front. The car last (maybe he was going too fast..)

He doesn't make any attempt to slow down OR avoid the stopped car. Bizarre, considering he had just overtaken the car behind it.

Dude is either a distracted moron staring at a phone/satnav screen, or he has some kind undiagnosed condition, because he appears completely oblivious to what is about to happen.

Even looks like he's holding a phone or something. It would explain the lack of breaking he was doing.

Now that I've seen the clip, and not just a pic, I do agree it's entirely the bikers fault.

It's almost like that's the problem 99.99999999% of the time or something

And as usual, the thing James Lindsay uses as a joke example comes to reality: Critical Car Theory.

Easily the biker's fault. Although if he's like a ton of bikers he will blame cars 100% of the time because a biker is always right in their mind. I think the law tends to favor the car in front even if they do stop suddenly, because the guy behind could have been paying attention and following less closely.

I had some idiots cross in front of me a few days ago, they decide to sprint across a high speed intersection a few seconds after it turned green in the middle of the night when you can barely see them. Good thing there wasn't a biker behind me, because I had to stop much faster than that red car.

Blame policymakers for stupid people, hahaha. I bet I know how that guy votes.

You know how they say any media headline phrased as a question can be answered “no” … well this isn’t a headline question but I think the same principle applies here.

I'd like to think Hunter's comment is a joke...but it's probably not. Also, physiognomy strikes again, and strikes hard.

I'd say it's a mix, there's the people that can't control their vehicles, the timid drivers, the road ragers, the can't control their speed so brake a lot..

But there are truly some idiotic road designs that just seem designed to cause accidents, like putting a sharp corner near a roundabout or a cycle crossing near a busy route used by heavy vehicles.
