In a purely hypothetical scenario, if a group of evil people controlled most aspects of a society, and brainwashed the population through schools, the news, and all forms of media, and if a civil war broke out, in this hypothetical scenario, it would be a wise decision for the rebels, fighting against the evil tyrants, to target their propaganda centers first, to remove their ability to control the narrative, and allow the truth to come out, in full. This is purely hypothetical, though.
