It's not that new, but yeah. It's one of the things that comes with verification or however you get the blue check now. Mostly I've seen it used by regressive leftists, trannies, etc.
How many hours played, and how long ago was the purchase? Because if it's under 2 hours and within 2 weeks, it's refundable as per their policy. If you politically charged the message to Steam though, they can negate that refund as it's not deemed "legitimate grounds".
They don't actually need to know why you're refunding it. Just state "this is not what I wanted" and that's it. If they want to know more, it's their obligation to ask.
They made the first Far Cry, I also would have welcomed them buying it back and letting Ubisoft keep the name like what happened to Operation Flashpoint CWA.
They're losers who got their company gutted by star citizen and had a hissy fit about it. I didn't even know they still has a company, but if they do, it's a shadow of its former self.
Yes, gullible star-nerds gave Chris Roberts hundreds of millions of dollars, so presumably he will be in development until the heat death of the universe.
It is not year 11 of development with nothing like a playable game in existence. You can apparently use some game systems in a limited way, which mostly involves "realistic" travel times running around from place to place.
AFAIK he keeps releasing assets like locations & ships instead of focusing on the gameplay he promised as the core of the game.
Hunt: Showdown has been their project since 2019 and is very good but takes a certain type to play it. It's very high stakes type of gameplay with permadeath if your character dies.
So is this the new way of essentially turning off comments?
Yeah. It's "we know this is going to piss actual fans off, but we can't have that happen, so fuck off"
(Ed: Nvm everyone can do it now)

Have they even had any good game besides the first Crysis?
I just bought the remastered edition. :(
Edit: I submitted a refund, lets see if it goes through or if valve will tell me to go fuck myself as the message was politically charged.
Edit2: it was sucessfull

Far Cry? (the first)
My favorite is Far Cry Blood Dragon, but that was made by Ubisoft.

I just noticed this was 3 days after the Covenant School shooting.
Notice how they released/did a bunch of crazy shit during holy week? 🤔
Uninstalled instantly.

Damn that's a name I haven't heard in a while. Does that shitshow still exist?

Still in sometimes-playable alpha. Some details about the latest patch from a month ago. Does not touch on the performance and optimization problems that still plague their engine.
For real.
Don't fret, OP, this is probably a publicity stunt to remind people that they still exist and sell a few games. Nothing of value was lost.
Yar har fiddle-de dee!
God is trying to steer us away from the bing bing wahoos.
Haven't made a game since the mid 2000s.
