The author could not keep itself from trying to smear the farmers:

The protests have drawn global attention, and garnered the support of the former US president Donald Trump, as well as conspiracy theorists who claim the farmers are victims of a “globalist” plot to steal their land.

But in do honestly, does this change anything? I'm no expert on Dutch politics but they need a coalition, if the greens get a coalition going to form a majority then they will force the legislations anyway, they've already shown they do not care about what the farmers or even the majority want.

You are right. The 'centre right' parties would sooner form a coalition with commies than even start to negotiate with the farmers.

does this change anything?

It's an election in Europe. So obviously, the answer is no.

The Dutch govt WAS stealing 3000 farms at the behest of foreign climate tzars. I hate journalists so much.

Believe it or not this is the least biased article I could find about it.

The media are the enemy of the people.

This is far from over. So long as the feminist ideology that spawned the retarded rationale for climate hysteria (feels over reals) is accepted as normal and sane it will just come back in another form. See stove ban, insects as food, impossible burger etc

Also it is also not certain they can form majority government yet.

Surprised this wasn't posted. This is a huge win and could be the start of the end of the Great Reset and the scum factory that is the WEF.

The Left-wing GroenLinks/PvdA is also expected to win 15 seats

This is both parties combined. PvdA and GL merged together just to get 15 seats. It is just waiting until party conflicts blow up that alliance

Now to see if its actually going to be helpful, or if democracy has been successfully subverted enough, that 'winning' the election doesn't matter.

May the Schwartz be with us.

the dutch government will milk them dry by overtaxing everything, making supplies more expensive and playing the long game.

they need to prepare for the long game.

Them winning isn't a shock; they seem to have popular support. Them being allowed to win is surprising though.

But surely this is the wrong kind of Democracy™, according to our tolerant betters on the left.

You know what would be hilarious? If the left suddenly remembers what "Nazi" stands for, and smears this workers party as fascists. I'm hoping they do that, it would be hilarious. Do it, please.

"Workers' parties are evil" - Marxists.

Not Dutch, but German and I can comment on our voting system: It's way harder to fuck with numbers.
We are in a single time zone. Voting starts in the morning of a Sunday (work free day for almost everyone, except essential workers like police/hospital and stuff like parks/restaurants). It ends at 6pm. In the last years (couldn't find 2021, since the article was written before that) the final result was announced at the following times: 2017 5.25am, 2013 3.15am, 2009 3.35am.
Basically less than 12hours from the polls closing every vote has been counted and no one can start counting before polls closing (same for mail-in ballots, only opened at 6pm).
While we do have mail in voting they have to be there before we get any numbers. You cannot just discover a random bag of uncounted votes.

And we don't use electronic voting. Piece of paper and then everything is counted by hand.

Of course we do have vote manipulation, but it's usually a single person doing shit.

I thought I read that all the other establishment parties were going to gang up and freeze them out. At least they annoyed them a bit I suppose.
