If you "don't know" that it's okay to be white (or any other race, for that matter), to merely exist with a skin color, then you're part of the problem.
I'd imagine that at least a portion of the people who answered "don't know" thought, "what the fuck do you even mean?" but I'd also estimate that it's a very small percentage of the population.
The vast majority of human beings do not put that much thought into responses.
And 50% vs 25% actually doesn't functionally make that much of a difference when dealing with regular outcomes of random events. Even at 25% proliferation, you're going to run into it routinely.
