Off topic but may as well ask it under this post, what is it with women and true crime series?
I mean the most I'll ever watch these kinds of things is because of the narrator/content creator, women seem to seek this stuff out all the time. Can't be planning the 'perfect crime' as that would fail 100% if the guy they choose has the 'do not hit women' switch turned off or is togglable..
And they seem to have a shit idea of what domination TRULY should be looking at the fiction they write for it. They latch onto whenever men write it though.
One of the funniest things I ever found out was that the author behind Redo of Healer, who wrote it as extreme as possible to stand out and fund his other work, had a majority female readership lol
I love that shit also, it's not just women. For me it's morbid curiosity, doesn't mean I think a murderer is around every corner... unless they're some minority.
All jokes aside its kinda weird how it's mostly women who are into it though, I know more women than men who enjoy that sort of content.
I'm also into that shit. Its quite annoying, because its very often the case where as a show grows its forced to cuck itself to not offend them. You can often actually see it in real time.
Personally, I have this fascination with weird plot twists and kind of... trying to make sense of a situation that looks random nonsense at first.
Then again, I hate most of the true crime "community". I hate baseless theories that are always about "this white girl was kidnapped to be a sex slave" or "this man disappeared because he was gay and started a new life", both are very commonly thrown around.
I also hate it when the narration tries to make the victim sound like we know her. No, that trashy drug whore did not "light up the room".

Fear excites them.
Dark Triade personality types ain't no joke.
It turns them on. Women are drawn to dangerous men because they crave domination.

Well, at its core, Redo of Healer is a love story. A romance.
Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is good, but it's far from extreme I'd say.
Maybe 'most extreme that got an 'anime' adaption', unless there's another that isn't just straight hentai lol
It's just kinda boring imo
Hybristophilia often enough.
Women are sexually excited by the thought of being dominated and taken by powerful and violent men. Same as always.

It isn't just women, but it's overwhelmingly women.
Because they love dramatics and being able to go "but there are so many victims, I could be one"

Living vicariously through it.
Maybe, they think they can fix criminals if they understand them? Harley Quinn is popular for a reason

When it comes to a lot of media, especially those involving REAL people, communities can usually ruin it.
