The cultural attitudes of some black Americans would not make them popular in Africa. The entitlement does not fly well with people who have to work rather hard for a subsistence existence.

And that may be why African immigrants are so much more successful, on average, than black Americans.
I worked with two guys from Nigeria once and he said he thought most black Americans didn’t take advantage of all the opportunities America had to offer and instead they spend time complaining. He was working his way through school to start a business and his family had small businesses as well.
Shocker, you do better if you believe that Murica is the "land of opportunity" than when you're told from birth that you shouldn't bother because you'll never get anywhere due to your color.
