It always amuses me how Black Americans try to claim some blood/ancestral link to Africa while actual Africans think nothing of them, they take the money but not give a fuck about them.
So when they come over and they expect it to be a family reunion when it's actually that one uncle that's quick with a belt and doesn't take any shit.

The cultural attitudes of some black Americans would not make them popular in Africa. The entitlement does not fly well with people who have to work rather hard for a subsistence existence.

And that may be why African immigrants are so much more successful, on average, than black Americans.
I worked with two guys from Nigeria once and he said he thought most black Americans didn’t take advantage of all the opportunities America had to offer and instead they spend time complaining. He was working his way through school to start a business and his family had small businesses as well.
Shocker, you do better if you believe that Murica is the "land of opportunity" than when you're told from birth that you shouldn't bother because you'll never get anywhere due to your color.

No doubt. Those were just some of the Nigerians I knew. But of all the African immigrants I’ve met they seemed grateful to be in America.
Black Americans: "We want to be with our brothers and sisters in Africa!"
Black Africans: "We don't want any white tourist Americans shitting up our country, we have real problem."
Black Americans: "Exactly!"
Black Africans: "Exactly. Go home whitey. That means you."
Black Americans: "!!!"
Black Africans: "I'm black. Literally black. You're not even the color of milk chocolate. We are not the same."
