Look, draft dodging exists regardless of victory.

Did you know the largest number of mutineers and escapees from military service in WW2 was the Soviet Union? Literally millions fled the Soviet armies. Less than even fled the German armies in their defeat.

The issue is not whether or not there will be draft dodgers, the issue is why there are citizens that would refuse to fight for their country. And if your country is a corrupt shithole (or you are a rootless, corpratist, globalist millennial), the answer may be obvious.

That makes sense though. Soviets cared the least if you died.

Hells, they barely cared if their soldiers were armed or fed.

Not only that, but there were just millions of people who genuinely were fleeing communism, even if it meant surrendering while you were winning.

That being said, you are right, the other time I remember victorious forces surrendering was in the Battle of Inchon where the 300,000 strong Chinese Army forces were enduring -40 C temperatures in summer clothing, and were occasionally encountered by retreating US Marines. Those soldiers, many horribly frostbit and starving, tried surrendering, and sometimes the Marines could take them, but most of the time they couldn't. God only knows how many died. China still keeps the losses a secret. The devastation could range anywhere between 40%-80% losses. Once the seasons changed, fresh soldiers (still wearing summer gear) could replace the hundreds of thousands that died.

Yes, a country that doesn't do their propaganda right won't get enough volunteers. As you dumb the population it might get easier, but then the dindu culture comes and you wind up with no one but men in skirts, and nuclear luggage theft.

I think it's the opposite. A country that embraces globalism won't get volunteers for a nationalist war. Globalists have nothing to defend because they don't come from anywhere.

The Russians have about 2 million men or more to throw into the war.

Ukraine can't match that so they need to rely on US weapons and appeals to us and to NATO for help. Draft dodgers and the 60-year-old upper age limit for draftees suggest a large Russian advantage in manpower/cannon fodder.

The Germans sending tanks to Ukraine escalated the war nicely. Can a "low-yield nuclear exchange" be far behind?

It seems to me that the unwillingness of the anti-Russian parties to negotiate a peace indicates the motive for backing Zelensky is purely economic. The alliance is a cash cow for weapons manufacturers and Ukrainian oligarchs and a means for the US to monopolize the energy market now that Western Europe has fallen for the global warming scam.

It's not only the weapons. Longer war = more destruction = more rebuilding = more debt = more shekels.

Yeh the money is too good to stop right now. Wall Street, the MIC, NATO, no way they are stopping. Even if Ukraine ends up a glassed parking lot, it just makes it easier to plop down some NATO outposts and corporate projects.

One wonders if Russia's demographic collapse will ever leave it short of cannon fodder. Traditionally, they've had a lot.

I haven't heard that Russians aren't reproducing.

I heard they did. They have a lower birth rate than China who is purported to have a demographic bomb.

Germany send tanks at the same time as Poland & US.

Huh ... you post an article with a non-editorialized title, then you make an on-topic comment with your opinion about the article, and both get overwhelmingly upvoted, despite disagreeing responses.

What happened to the 'bots' following you around to downvote? Maybe the stormfags and conpro cucks are all in your head?

There's only a few storm fags in this thread and they are behaving themselves.

Arch, for example, always tends to be well behaved and eloquent for example.

He has some tards/bots following him around (as do I), but as is his wont, he exaggerates it and blame all the downvotes he gets on them.

Or maybe folks didn't downvote you because you followed the advice I gave you.
