I did a lot of research on him (reading online wikis and other pages) and the result of that is that I think he just says crazy shit and trolls for attention but is otherwise pretty harmless and isn't actually as bad as people claim. He just lends himself to getting clipped similar to Andrew Tate.
His "holocaust denial" was not actually him saying it, it was him reading a superchat someone sent him, and he was giggling along because it was edgy and funny to him because he's the irreverent type. He's never made any comments about the holocaust from what I can see apart from that 1 incident where they weren't his words.
Basically he just appeals to young guys, like plenty of other youtube type personalities I "don't get" because I'm in my 40s now. Like jake and logan paul. When I was a teen I listened to Rush Limbaugh. Kids these days.
Unfortunately his enemies have done a good job using clips of him saying crazy shit to make him look like he's a lunatic and use it to tar the Right, so I still think it's a good idea for politicians to keep their distance, but I think his reputation, like Tate's is grossly exaggerated.
The truth remains that it is the worst optics for ANY politician who wants to actually win elections to be seen as affiliating with Nick Fuentes.
Fuentes is just pure poison in terms of electoral politics.
The vast majority of voters will see anyone linked to Fuentes as the worst type of scum.
You have to win elections if you want to implement your policy.
