Not shocked though, there's a lot of woke in Linux, especially here. I got rid of Ubuntu earlier this year for Fedora on my desktop. I'm sure they suck somehow too, but it's at least nice to have better updates.
As a big open source proponent , the major weakness in FOSS is these people like to get into moderator roles and then become the little dictators they’ve always wanted to be. Mods for anything should be thoroughly and painstakingly vetted no matter how insignificant the platform.
Ubuntu is named after bantu spiritualism. It's been woke since its inception and has only gotten worse over time.
I remember something when it came out about "computers for everyone" or some weird woke sounding principles.

Used to be called "Red Hat" linux back in the late '90s/early '00s and the logo was a red fedora. Then was renamed to "Fedora Core" some years later.
It predates reddit by a decade.
They named it Red Hat, because Marc Ewing was always wearing a red hat around the CMU campus. So it was sort of his nickname. i.e. "the guy in the red hat, fixed my computer."

Sounds like there might be a good repo to add to your sources. In fact, if you're using the Brave package on Linux, you probably already added their repo. It would be an excellent host if anyone out there has the pull to get it done.
