Assuming it’s true (considering it is MSNBC) what if this judge has felt immense regret ever since. I’ve known people in their 40s who had an abortion when they were young or who helped their girlfriend get one and they still feel guilt or regret.
And what if he is pro-choice but thinks that the law is the law, and that it shouldn't be twisted to suit the agenda of fat, diabetic journalists like Jonathan Allen?
There's an old lady (not sure on age, I would say probably mid to late 70s?) out by me who is holding a sign outside a planned parenthood office (nearly) every single day. She's been doing it for years. The sign says "I regret my abortion"
Exactly this. Many of us who hold vehemently anti-abortion stances speak from a position of regret and moral failure — AKA experience.
I know that for me personally, it set in motion a series of life events over many years that significantly diminished my capacity to live a normal life. Its one of my greatest failures, and one where I can never square the circle.
Feel free to pile on, there’s nothing you can say that could make it any worse at this point.
It is also possible for hypocrites to be right. If it turns out a man working to combat domestic violence is a wife beater, it does not make his position against wife beating wrong. It can chafe for the rest of us, but the truth is the truth.
In early September, thirty-nine years after Jones says she terminated the pregnancy, Zahra voted to block a ballot initiative — known as Proposal 3 — that would enshrine abortion rights in the Michigan Constitution, arguing in a dissenting opinion that insufficient spacing between some words on the petition rendered it incompatible with Michigan law.
They write a hitpiece on a judge based on hearsay because of this. They're not even arguing that he is anti-abortion, just that he made a decision that was unfavorable to their cult.
Jones shared the details of her experience exclusively with NBC News in two interviews, one in late October and one at her home on Tuesday. She said she was moved to do so after a series of national and state events, including the Supreme Court’s decision this year to overturn federal protections for abortion rights and Zahra’s vote against the Michigan ballot proposal.
Jones said she was incensed by what she views as hypocrisy by Zahra, since she believes the termination of her pregnancy ultimately helped him build a successful law career, and that his vote was an attempt to deny others a similar choice.
So this is someone with an axe to grind, and yet the media gladly serves as her hatchetman.
It's hazardous to try to get into their minds, but I assume that he wasn't forced to take some minimum wage job to take care of the kid and could go to law school instead.
You can have kids in graduate school. I know from experience; I can recall the beating I received for fucking up the floppies with some of my dad's thesis work on them. People are so lazy and unwilling to compromise.

True. But I’m sure they didn’t check on that

Nobody ever tells their story
Nobody gives them a microphone. (((They))) want you to believe that every abortion is fun and a great time.

lets not get carried away here
Touche. Well, it is not the hypocrisy that makes his position wrong.
That’s true
I personally know 2 cases where they regret horribly what they did when they were young.

That they call themselves journalist is a joke.
Can someone explain this to me?
Sacrifices to Moloch work?

Being stuck with a child is a drain on resources, time and emotional stability.
I can think of few things in my life as stabilizing to my emotional state as knowing absolutely that something must be done, and must be done now.
I can't think of anything that would tip me over the edge faster than having a child.
Getting drunk enough to have accidentally done a Vegas wedding?

I don't care about his personal moral failures. Why the fuck do these fuckers think I do
He didn't try. He did it. The Michigan State Supreme Court overruled him. This fatass cunt can't even get that much correct.
Women are so scared that they can't get out of jail free if their baby trapping attempt fails/lover gets them pregnant.
And?
Nothing wrong with admitting your past errors.
I'm a former leftist.
Can I get an early life check on fatty Jon over here?
