For reference, "triple talaq" is a Muslim practice where the husband verbally repudiates his wife three times and then they are divorced. I know the muslims in the Philippines practice it (divorce is illegal for the non muslims there).
Muslim divorce is very male-centric. Women aren't allowed to have sex with another man until they've had multiple menstrual cycles so there is surety that any children they have don't belong to the former husband.
Iirc wasnt this used by Muslims to sleep with prostitutes? Get married to the hooker than sleep with her and divorce her after and somehow this didnt violate their religion

By law, a prostitute could only "work" three times a year if using this method.
The law is so the Muslim doesnt "sin" not that the prostitute really cares.
