Nerdrotic said it was kinda good but he did mention the race swap. Just seems so dumb that GRRM would allow that. Honestly if they want black ppl do a spin-off show set in the summer isles.

The original series did have black characters and it was fine. They could have done that but they wanted to add black characters to the center of the story. I kind of understand that but I would like them to do it in a good way rather then this forced crap. At what point can we just admit that most of it is anti-white racism.
There was a time race swaps didn’t bother me since they were sporadic, but now it happens so much that I’m certain of the motive. Also this show annoys me because it’s a reminder he can’t finish the main series.
Yea the original series had black characters and other non white characters. The Jon Snow series will be in the far north. I wonder how they will shoehorn diversity there
Either they'll pull some all-black Wildling clan out of their ass, or they'll just sporadically add some black Wilding characters here and there. Neither makes any damn sense coming from a race of people who spent the last couple thousand years isolated in a frozen tundra where no one could get in or out, making it impossible for a dark-skinned ethnicity to ever develop there.
If they followed logic they wouldn't have added a black dwarf to Rings of Power, since they live almost excusively under ground. They also wouldn't have made a black elf, since they were created under starlight, before Eru even created the two trees, or the sun, after the trees were destroyed.
The only explanation that makes sense, that I've heard, for the black elf is he's a half breed, of an elf and black human. However, that wouldn't really make sense cannonically, since Tolkien made elf-human pairings incredibly rare. They were so rare, that the Silmarillion was almost exclusively about Luthien (an elf) and Beren (a human), or at least was the most important part, according to Tolkien. If I remember correctly, the children from that pairing led to Elrond and Arwen, as well as the entire Numenorian line, and kingdom, then to Gondor and Arnor, the Dunedain, and eventually to Aragorn. The Silmarillion amd the appendices read more like a history book and genetic lineage than a comprehensive story, all of which shows that elf-human pairings were exceedingly rare, and documented. Furthermore, every single description of elves says they're fair skinned, meaning white.
Still, that would require the writers/producers to know about the lore, and care about it.

One ... not enough sun at high latitudes to cause a genetic mutation for darker skin.
Two ... A lack of a critical nutrient provided by what little sun exists would ensure that those that did develop darker skin would have a harder time with passing on successful genes.
That being said ... the Inuit are still somewhat olive-skinned, due to a relatively short evolutionary time in the frozen north after being separated from their Mongolian ancestors. 50k years is a blink of an eye. 2k years, as you proposed is even less, so ...

Yea. I joke that the only race swap ill accept is Denzel Washington since he is one of my favorite actors, but seriously you can’t tell me “they were the best for the role”. Especially when the only way to win awards is by shoehorning or race/gender swaps
I'm not sure why you would. They're taking successful white entertainment and shoehorning in blacks in the hopes you'll watch it with the same zeal. You won't. Noone does. That's why they don't come up with original content for blacks.
I understand wanting to have good black characters I just want black characters that make sense and not be forced.
Blade or Spawn are great, the addition of black characters in the original Game of Thrones series was fine. You can make some very good movies in Nubia and their conflict with Egypt for instance. I would like something like that. You can even make games, problem is that if you make accurate representation people get offended.
This is a big issue, accurate representations of black african nations tend to offend the left. This is extremely annoying as you can build upon the fact they were less developed to create more obscure mythos that can leak in to modern day. You just need some creativity and focus on positive aspects of their cultures.
Unfortunately current PC culture does not create new things, they want to "fix" representation that equals bastardize existing mythos or even history. Because showing black nations as less developed and violent is considered racist, despite being true. You need to show them like an idealized 17-18 century France but with black people instead of whites.
Your argument is thought out and well written. I'm just not sure, as a white person, you would even try to understand it or accept it.
Compromise and tolerance is what got us here.
It's not just anti-white racism. It's propaganda meant to condition people to accept the changes in demographics of the West. The same people that push this crap are the same people pushing for open borders and mass non-white immigration. It's the Kalergi plan in action.
However, that's not all. They're also intentionally buying up beloved stories, IPs, franchises, and heroes, and remaking, sequelling, and prequelling them to death, ruining them. It's a form of humiliation and demoralization. They're intentionally robbing us of all of our good stories and heroes, giving us no one worthy to emulate. It also allows them to push all of their failed, degenerate, and destructive philosophies, like nihilism, anti natalism, sexual degeneracy, LGBTQ, anti-white hatred, hatred of masculine men, hatred of feminine women, feminism, non-whites and women being potrayed as perfect, diversity, affirmative action, anti merit, relativism, communism, intersectionality, post modernism, and so forth. It's ts why it's so difficult to watch. It's nothing but propaganda.
Lots of people make the mistake of thinking this is due to greed or incompetence. Neither motive makes sense. If this was incompetence, they wouldn't be making the same choices over and over, and they would've made something good by accident. Some decent things are made, but I figure that's more due to some good people still remaining in these institutions. If this was greed, they would've realized a long time ago that "go woke, go broke" is true, and completely abandoned the woke crap. The only motive that makes sense is maliciousness. They're intentionally doing this. They're intentionally putting out unpopular propaganda to condition the masses. Obviously some of the middle men are being driven by greed and/or incompetence, but the string pullers are malicious. They have to be laundering money to fund this. I hazard a guess that's why government "budgets" are in the trillions, and foreign "aid" never goes to what it's allotted for. It's clearly a globalist money laundering scheme, forcing the taxpayers to fund the very propaganda used against them. That's why all these globalist controlled institutions put out the exact same messages and propaganda. It's all being pushed by the same people.
