If they only there was another way to get Android apps outside of the play store...oh wait, you can download APK files from a number of sources.
Hopefully they don't lock out sideloading like apple does
Its one of those traps they are in where its been allowed for so long, and really is one of the main defining features that still lets them be competitive with Apple's market domination, that tinkering with it at all is a huge gamble despite being something they probably want to do most.
While I tend to agree. We see manufacturers who were mocking Apple removing the earphone jack doing the exact same thing not long after. And Firefox is basically turning into Chrome.
And I use earphone jacks, and stopped using Firefox.
The best way to beat hackers and pirates is to make access to product available for a fair price and with minimal inconvenience. Then normies will just do that. The thing is they are making ads more and more of a pain in the ass on phone apps anymore.
The internet is completely unfuckingusable without, at minimum, an adblocker and a Javascript manager. What really boils my piss is how they claim "they need to make ads more obnoxious because people use adblockers" as if giving us more reason to use an adblocker will make us stop using adblockers.
The start of a new arms race!
Funny they havnt blocked or circumvent adblocker on youtub. I wonder why??
Youtube has ads?

Interesting question.
Well I'll get a VPN that blocks apps that block VPNs that block ads.
How about an app that records the info of all the ad servers it encounters and then initiates DDOS attacks on them? I'd download that one.
Me too
