I will continue to beat this drum until it begins to resonate inside some of the thicker skulls of this community.
Far too many here truly believe that the Republicans will miraculously save them because it's easier than coming to terms with the reality that there is no battle between Democrats v Republicans, the battle is Establishment v Public. Everything else is show.
More comfortable, not easier. Once people realize they have zero representation it starts to go beyond easy, because acquiescing to a totally unpreventable thing easier than easy.
You really only have two choices:
Reform the Republican Party by getting involved in local, state and federal primaries and putting in anti-establishment candidates
Support a third party which is likely not viable and will be a waste of your vote

He wants them illegal so they maintain having no legal recourse for his mistreatment. Can't sue your employer if your presence in the country is illegal.

White people will do those jobs if they pay better and have better working conditions. When people say "immigrants do jobs that Americans won't do!" They leave off the "at the current wages and under the current conditions" that should be included there. They also ignore the more transparently sinister cases of workers having to train their H1B replacements in return for severance pay, literally just straight up replacement.
It wasn't that long ago that America was 85% non-Hispanic white. "Somehow," work still got done so this idea that "we must take in the immigrants, or we will not survive" is provably bullshit and always has been.
Blacks. When ICE under Trump removed hundreds of illegals operating chicken farms in Georgia, the local blacks almost immediately stepped in and were hired on to replace the illegals.
At my old job, the jobs for illegal Mexicans were they cleaned the floors (expected 6 hours a night) 7 days a week for 400$ a month. No breaks, no days off. If you had something to do you were required to find your replacement and they would want a cut of it.
I want you to explain in which reality that is not only enough to live on (because you could maybe do two of those contracts before running out of time as it was overnight only), but fucking worth it to even bother?
I remember Dick Morris, the former Clinton advisor and foot fetishist, predicting in the early 2000s that universal healthcare would arrive very soon because of an alliance between Democrats who want big government control and Republican big businesses who don't want to have to deal with healthcare.
Same for immigration. Democrats want voters, business wants cheap labor.

Restaurants and vegetable packers might be hurt somewhat by having their supply of wetbacks cut off.
As the universities collapse and people begin to see service jobs as the dead-ends they are, American workers are going to need to find work in meat packing plants, factories, construction companies, and so forth that currently rely to a great degree on illegal workers.
The only people interested in maintaining the flow of cheap Central American labor are rich people, the ownership class.
