White people will do those jobs if they pay better and have better working conditions. When people say "immigrants do jobs that Americans won't do!" They leave off the "at the current wages and under the current conditions" that should be included there. They also ignore the more transparently sinister cases of workers having to train their H1B replacements in return for severance pay, literally just straight up replacement.

It wasn't that long ago that America was 85% non-Hispanic white. "Somehow," work still got done so this idea that "we must take in the immigrants, or we will not survive" is provably bullshit and always has been.
