It doesn't really matter. The point is to demoralize the population. Popular media is demoralizing the greater population by presenting to them the reflection of a culture that does not represent them, their color, their history, their creed, their religion, their morals.
Some producer said he wishes Phoebe was black.
If she was, she would be considered a horrible stereotype who is ditzy, weird, with a druggie mom, etc.
If this Phoebe was black, would she be allowed to have any character flaws for a comedy to work with?
If Phoebe was black that would mean the black character was the one whose father walked out on her and her two sister, Ursula.
I think this also has an ulterior purpose.
You know what type of show normal white people would like to watch? A show with normal white people.
If you're the last big time successful show to feature that then you have a strangle hold on the genre.
Whites that "make it" do this all the time. They love demonizing the methods they used to make sure others can't follow and have the same success. It's done to make sure there is less competition
