She is not even a good electoral politician since she vastly underperformed the other Rs running in SD. She won by only 3.8 percent in a state Trump won by 30 points against Hillary and 25 points against Biden.

This issue is a lot more complicated than I think people are allowing themselves to consider. This is not a defense of Noem, I just think that this is a far from cut and dried issue as people polarize around it.
