And I'm just wondering how Musk even sees this stuff, they weren't exactly tagging him, and I don't suspect he follow those guys (but I could be wrong).

He looks for it to comment and keep himself relevant in the public's mind.

This was a deep embarrassment for The Washington Post

They don't give a fuck

They employ two narcissistic sociopaths, Taylor Lorenz and Felicia Sonmez. So yeah... they cannot be embarrassed.

I can guarantee you there is more than just two working there.

They would have to feel shame to be embarrassed. Nothing about their recent conduct indicates that this is the case.

Rufo is by far the most effective conservative activist in the past 20 years, and probably more.

Every one of us should be a Rufo.

I really hope the parental pushback on the leftist schools is the beginning of the pendulum swinging back. Maybe it can climb through the grades in reverse order all the way up to university.

Democracy dies in dorkness.

"Democracy dies in darkness" reminds me of the 300 quote, paraphrased, "Our arrows shall block out the sun" where each piece of propaganda represents the little patch of shadow under an arrow.

That is actually the rare part of 300 that actually came from history.

The Spartans are where we get the term 'laconic speech' from. They were considered a boorish and rough people, mostly by the Athenians for their verbal austerity, but were quite highly educated and gave some great lines to history.

When Philip II of Macedon invaded other parts of Greece he sent a message to the Spartans saying "If I invade Laconia, I shall turn you out."

The Spartans replied with just one word, "If."

Which is a stupid fucking line from them, if you think about it for more than 5 seconds. Always hated that people somehow thought there was something badass about that. There wasn't. There isn't.

Besides the fact that Sparta had a fork stuck in it from the Peloponnesian War and everybody knew it. Including the Spartans.

Supposedly, when the Spartans were told that the Persian arrows could block out the sun, they replied: "great. We'll fight in the shade."

When society can accept monstrous feminist lies as truth then we can accept any number of other lies.
