I wonder if they intentionally put someone so incompetent in that position thinking it would make Doocy appear mean. Psaki was a bitch who everyone knew was lying, but unfortunately the press secretary’s job is to spin the narrative in a way that makes the administration look like it knows what it’s doing. This chick doesn’t understand the questions, the motivation behind the question, nor does she know how to answer them.
Media Spin 101 - you don't answer the question they ask, you answer the one you're wanting them to ask. Stick a derptacular person behind the podium and let them run with the spin instead of the details.
