I fucking hate how people think that doing shrooms/ecstasy/weed/whatever is in vogue is totally fine and no different than trying out a new restaurant.
All you have to do is look at heroin/meth addicts to see what the end result is.
Hell, the amount of celebrities who die to drug overdoses should be a wake up call but it isn't.
Criminals also tend to think they won't get caught, therefore deterrent measures won't ever apply to them. Their stupidity literally means they don't imagine how punishments will wreck their lives. It's survivorship bias all the way down, with shocked Pikachu faces just before life slaps them in the face like a live fish.
I personally know someone who destroyed his life and the lives of several people around him because of weed. He was an addict who would stop at virtually nothing to get money for his fix.
It pisses me off to no end when people say "huehue I've never heard of a pot smoker robbing someone for weed therefore it never happens" because I could throw that right in their dumb fucking faces, but I don't because I wouldn't betray the guy like that.
Cannabis users are more likely to become psychotic than the general population. It's why I think legalisation of cannabis is a trap for conservatives - if you try to buy votes by making more Antifa, you've fucked yourself.
