It is pretty funny to see the reddit comments waxing lyrical about how they never expected to see another European war in their lifetime.

It’s like watch shitty trash TV, like Honey Booboo or like watching a car crash. Some people just can’t look away but they know it’s horrible to stare.
They only hear of what they are told by the mainstream media.

With as bad as Europe had gotten I couldn't envision anyone wanting to take it over.
It's not even the first one in my lifetime and I'm almost a millennial.
