You can see the plastic seam where they hinge open and shut, and the paint quality, as mentioned, is gradeschool level. It's well below Walmart costume jewelry. It's not even Halloween jewelry.

Her necklace is very thin copper or brass indented with hand tools. The lines arent even straight, I did better copper tooling than that back in art class in high school.

On a more serious note, I believe a lot of elites know that the ship is sinking faster than expected and are getting as quick of a payout as possible. Amazon spends a billion on a cheap show because if the execs just cashed out a billion in shares, the "value" would tank. Instead, produce overpriced crap and most of the money stays at the top in bonuses.

They run ads for this crap everywhere.

When I saw it I thought it was the trailer for some medium-production game, or a B-series.

I was only tipped it was derivative of LOTR by the wording/quote, and it was painfully-obvious it's an attempt at gender-flipping the story ( and from otyer sources, race-flipping Tolkien mythology ).

With a very poor execution if the trailer reflects the show's quality.

You do wonder how they could waste so much money on producing this low-quality series.

Funny, in the fictional version, they went the other way with offensiveness.

The show was in development hell for a long time. They probably kept blowing through money with rewrites, reshoots and such.

The show does not look cheap. The media is just trying to cover for people's reaction to the IP's destruction.
